The objective

What this system is built to do

Work the second-degree network before strangers. A shared connection, a mutual group, or a prior interaction converts several times better than a cold approach. Not doing: cold volume outreach, that is a different system.

Cycle & hand-offs: Mine the warm network runs weekly (Mon) and starts the cycle. Hand-offs: Mine the warm network → Engage before asking: straight away; Engage before asking → Send the personal note: 3 days later. Runs on its own rhythm: Route and report (weekly (Fri)). Any other link waits for a person. Sign-off steps stay with a person; everything else can run on its own once armed.

How it runs

The steps your team follows

The workflow, exactly as it runs inside . It plays through step by step, or pick any node on the map.

1

Mine the warm network

Monthly
  1. Pull second-degree connections at target accounts from .
  2. Add anyone who engaged with our content, attended an event, or replied before.
  3. Enrich to 100 named prospects with the warm path recorded.
  4. Human approval, approve the list and flag any we should not approach.

Find the strongest bridge first. For each prospect, work down this list and stop at the first fact you can source and date:

  1. A prior one-to-one conversation with this person (inbox and CRM, by name and by email domain).
  2. We have sold to or delivered for this company before (check revenue records, not labels).
  3. The company appears in a case or reference we're cleared to name.
  4. A live network link: first degree, or second degree only through a mutual you can name.
  5. A past conversation on a social channel (check what was actually sent, not memory).
  6. A shared room. Attended, both attending and both registered are different facts, so say which.
  7. A peer in their segment replied to us on this angle. That doesn't make them warm, but it calibrates the angle.
  8. A why-now event on their side. This is the floor: it makes a cold touch legitimate, not warm.

Record one premise line per prospect: the bridge, its source and its date. No source or date means no bridge.

Monthly warm sources. Past champions and buyers who changed jobs (verify the move against their live profile, then score the new company). Closed-lost and quiet deals, but only where they engaged and then went quiet; people who never replied are prospecting, not revival. Tag each revived deal with its likely loss pattern (timing, champion left, price-to-value, lost to an alternative) and reuse the play that worked last time for that pattern.

2

Engage before asking

Weekly
  1. Comment usefully on their posts for a week before any message.
  2. Reference something specific and recent, never a generic compliment.
  3. Track who engages back; those move first.
3

Send the personal note

Weekly
  1. Open with the shared context, the person, the event, the thread.
  2. One sentence on why you are reaching out now.
  3. Ask for a conversation, not a demo.
  4. Follow up once, a week later, with something useful attached.

Bridge rules. State the bridge as a dated fact, in the words the premise line recorded. Never imply a relationship that isn't there: if you registered for the same event, don't say you met. Re-opening a past deal needs new information (a change on their side or ours), never "checking back in". Default spacing for the single follow-up: ~7 days for revived deals, ~10 for champions in a new role (they're busy), ~14 for engaged contacts who went quiet. No reply after that moves them to passive nurture until a fresh signal fires.

Human approval, every revival or bridge note is reviewed before it sends. A clumsy message burns the one re-open you get.

4

Route and report

Weekly
  1. Log every conversation into with its warm path.
  2. Post the weekly summary to Slack: engaged, replied, booked.
  3. Feed the paths that worked back into next month's mining.

Report by bridge type. Show replies and meetings per bridge (prior conversation, past customer, network, shared room, job move, revived deal) so effort moves to the bridges that convert. Log each revived deal's loss pattern and outcome so the pattern library improves each cycle.
